BMW Fork Swap

We had a client contact us, wanting to swap out the forks on his BMW F800 for the larger and higher quality forks on a BMW S1000RR.

The basic idea was to keep the original steering stem (black in the pictures), which would allow us to use the standard F800 bearings. We would the make upper and lower sleeves to allow the original steering stem to press into the larger diameter holes on the S1000RR triple clamps.

What we started with (S1000RR on left; F800 on Right):
